Sapho receives industry recognition in the 12th Annual 2017 Network Products Guide IT World Awards

It’s been a busy spring over here at Sapho! We announced our series B funding in April and just a few weeks ago at Microsoft Build, announced our integration with Microsoft Office 365 to deliver a modern portal experience to Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. And, it keeps getting better.

This week we found out that we won three of the Network Products Guide 2017 IT World Awards! Specifically, we were the:

  • Gold Winner for the Best IT Product of the Year in the apps category
  • Silver Winner for the Startup of the Year
  • Bronze Winner for the New IT Product of the Year

NPG’s IT World Awards recognize the industry’s best solutions and we’re excited to be honored among other leaders like Dell, Cisco, and more. The list highlights the world’s best organizational performance, products, and services, hot technologies, executives and management teams, successful deployments, product management and engineering, customer satisfaction, and public relations in every area of information technology.

“We are proud to be honored by our peers in the information technology industry, especially as a three-year old startup – as startup that only came out of stealth less than a year ago,” said Fouad ElNaggar, Sapho CEO and cofounder. “Sapho is changing the way people get their work done and this recognition further validates our mission to triple the productivity and effectiveness of the enterprise workforce.”

Sapho empowers employees with a modern portal experience that surfaces relevant tasks and data using micro apps. Sapho micro apps, built by IT on top of existing systems like ERP, CRM, or HCM, simplify workflows and data access while allowing employees to complete work faster and make better decisions. Since our initial launch last June, we’ve seen tremendous momentum, with a 320 percent revenue growth and 200 percent customer growth in 2016. And, already in the first half of this year, we’ve completed integrations with companies like Microsoft and IBM to further modernize the workplace for enterprise customers.

We’re excited to continue gaining traction in the industry and we can't wait to tell you about more good news in the next couple of weeks. Here’s to a great second half of 2017!
